My forge, but really, I'll come to you, or I can meet you at a trolley stop, since that's what I'd like to see.

[He's not getting it.]

Which trolley stop? And how long will it take you?

[ She smiles to herself. ]

I don't want to get there before you. It's way more impressive if you see me coming up the track.

I'm close to the one in Alcyone's Wake. Twenty minutes, if I'm closing up the forge.

Okay, stay right there and give me thirty.

[ Maybe this sounds like Toph is going to take thirty minutes to get there, but it actually means she's backing up far enough down the tracks to build up real speed coming up to the Alcyone's Wake stop, while also making sure she's ducking the real trolley so she doesn't cause an accident.

She needs to stage her grand entrance perfectly. ]

[He waits at Alcyone's Wake, sitting on the bench at the train stop, legs crossed and with his journal out as he takes notes.]

[ From the distance, a sleek metal train car comes rocketing up the tracks. There's no engine attached to it anywhere or a discernible door, and the windows are empty, making the car open to the air.

It goes extremely fast. Metalbending something forward on rails is trivially easy for Toph, who can already go quite fast on her own just on the ground itself. She slows the car down gradually and comes to a graceful, easy halt, smooth as silk, in front of the train stop.

A panel on the side lifts up as one whole piece, without hinges, Toph pushing it up above her head. The tiny barefoot girl emerges, affecting casual ease. ]
