[ Toph attended but only to harass Kurama. She is actively trying to learn spiritual sensing and was surprised to find Kakashi there as well, realizing she should pester him about teaching her the skill later.
This doesn't seem like the right time, though. Toph is acutely sensitive to actions like gate slamming and stomping around, and before long she emerges from her house and wanders over to Kakashi's, where she sometimes helps with the dog chores. ]

I might take you up on it. You know, when I signed up for that training stuff, I didn't think I'd run into any trouble because of my age. But you would not believe the grief I got!
It was so - so - infuriating! You know, I gave my credentials. I've earned my rank. They never even said anything about themselves, just fixated on "saving a child from the battlefield". Me! A child!

[because he might just be down for that. it's not like he's done...well...much of any jutsu in front of toph before. maybe that's a little unfair considering how much bending she does in front of him.]
[ Obviously she needs to know his capabilities if she's going to be taking him as backup on some hypothetical mission. Also because it's super fun to show off and Toph has not abandoned her quest to make Kakashi have fun, even if he isn't thinking of it that way. ]
There's a whole army out there, [ she informs him loftily, ] encroaching on our position, and here you are, playing with dogs!
[ Did he not want a whole roleplay scenario? Because that's happening. Toph is making some fast martial arts movements with her arms and there's a faint sound of rumbling from outside in the yard. Yup, there's a whole array of rock enemies popping up into existence. ]
[kakashi's eyes widen slightly at her statement, as he realizes what she's doing, then he relaxes with a light scoff. not a laugh, mind you. a scoff. he doesn't laugh, dammit.]
Okay, you're on.
[he wades through the sea of dogs up to the gate, then makes a show of cracking his knuckles.]
You really think your army can handle this?
[almost like he expects her to change her mind at the last second. he's so ready to unleash the beast, though.]
[ Toph definitely laughs. In fact, she cackles evilly, raising her arms dramatically into the air. ]
One little boy with a bunch of silly pets? You're nothing against I, the Crusher, and my legion of stone soldiers! We'll show you why pesky kids should stay off the battlefield!
[ It's extra cathartic if she has him prove himself in character, right? Toph's rock enemies aren't idle -- they flow over the ground and close the gap quickly -- but they are more or less practice dummies nonetheless, in that they aren't close to being as challenging as a real enemy. ]
[kakashi calmly steps out of the enclosure, closing the gate behind him, and smirks. then, suddenly, he bursts into action! he dashes around the yard at ninja speed, truly blowing off steam. he's destroying one rock fellow with a mere kick, throwing a massive fireball at a couple others, at one point he pulls his sword out and imbues it with lightning (yeah he can do that, big woop) and starts slashing them apart.]

[but he sounds lighter now, and just a touch breathless. it's been months since he went all out, and....dare he even think it...this is kind of fun.]
[ Damn, he is fast. Well, if he really wants to let off steam, Toph will oblige. She leaps upward, boosted by the ground, and shoots over the enclosure fence to the other side where she lands in a ripple of earth. ]
Those dummies are but the smallest fraction of my power!
[ Tall slabs of earth erupt out of the ground and race toward him, trying to squash him flat or at least pin him against the advancing rock dummies. ]
